An Icelandic eiderdown duvet from ÆÐUR combines high-quality Icelandic raw materials, centuries-old traditions, and exceptional functionality and comfort. Each duvet is filled with 100% Icelandic eiderdown. Eiderdown is one of Iceland’s most valuable natural resources, which the owners of ÆÐUR handle from nest to duvet. ÆÐUR works in harmony with nature at every stage of production, just as has been done for over a thousand years in Icelandic eider farming, ever since the settlement of Iceland.
FABRIC
The outer shell of the duvet is made from high-quality down-proof cotton fabric that is both soft and durable, certified by either OEKO-TEX Standard 100 or Global Organic Textile Standard and free from harmful substances. The fabric is designed to breathe, maintain freshness, and create a healthy sleeping environment. Each duvet is made to order in Seyðisfjörður by ÆÐUR and tailored to your needs, whether you prefer a summer, all-season, or winter duvet. With this, you receive not only a product, but a handcrafted duvet made specifically for you, designed and produced for your sleep.
SHIPPING
When you order a duvet, we begin sewing, filling the duvet, and obtaining certification for it. Production time is 5–10 business days.
We ship worldwide with DHL Express.
Shipping costs are calculated as flat rates by region and displayed at checkout and all orders include tracking. As each piece is handcrafted and produced in limited quantities, delivery may take between 5–30 business days.
International customers outside Iceland may be responsible for import duties, VAT, taxes, or customs fees charged by their local government.
We keep records of all products we have delivered and provide ongoing service for them in the future. If anything ever happens with the product, you can always contact us.
WARMTH LEVEL

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is one of the strictest certifications available for organically produced textiles.
